By using the various filters, for example, ‘travelling times’ and ‘working times’ can be tracked and are always available for further calculation. This allows you to calculate after completion how much work has really been done and whether this type of work (project) is perhaps not worthwhile.
You can filter the working times by folders or projects. To do this, click on the corresponding field and an overview of your folders and projects will open. You can select one or more folders and projects.
The working times can also be filtered by one or more employees.
You can also filter by work type. For example, you can display how much time your employees have entered for journeys.
The last filter option is by date or period. User-defined filtering is also possible here (a start and end date can be entered).
Please note:
Multiple selection of filters is also possible. Different combinations of filters are possible.
Filters can be deleted after selection via the ‘Deselect all’ field or by removing the tick.
To remove the multiple selection of filters, you can click on the ‘Delete all filters’ field.
Good to know:
- Only the recorded times of users with an assigned Pro or Premium licence are displayed in the working times dashboard.
- Evaluation is only possible by a user with the assigned Pro or Premium licence.
- Own time tracking entries can be adjusted or deleted within 48 hours by a user with the ‘Employee’ role assigned in Craftnote.
- Users with the ‘Supervisor’ role can create, delete, adjust and export times for themselves and other project members for the projects assigned to them.
- Users with the owner role can create, delete, adjust and export working times for all project members.
- Stored working times can be viewed and analysed under the working times dashboard as a user with the assigned role ‘Owner’ & ´Supervisor’, even if the project has already been archived. Furthermore, the working times from the archived project can also be viewed under the ‘Archive’ settings area.
- If the user with the ‘Employee’ role wants to view the working hours from an archived project under the web app, they must click on the cogwheel symbol (settings) in the top right-hand corner and select the ‘Archive’ menu. After calling up the relevant project, the stored working time can be viewed in the ‘Time recording’ area.
- Working hours of external project members or former employees can be viewed and analysed in the working hours dashboard.
- The names of employees are only listed in the ‘Employees’ filter if a time entry exists for them.
