The offline function addresses 2 issues:
Firstly, if there is insufficient network coverage, content created (image, video, text, PDF) is stored in the cache of the smartphone or tablet until the data connection is until the data connection is sufficient to upload the content to the project or folder.
On the other hand, the user also has the option of making a project available offline. This is necessary, for example, if the work location is in an area with poor network coverage (e.g. basement, rural area, etc.). To do this, simply switch to the folder or project details for the desired project or folder using the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the screen. In the lower area, move the "Available offline" slider to the right and the documents are loaded into the cache and can be used offline. Please note that the data must be downloaded once - simply scroll through the project once.
You can edit and save folder and project details offline. Chats can also be opened offline and messages that have already been received can be read. However, messages are only received and written messages are only sent when you are online again.
Quick guide
1) Open the mobile app and select the folder or project in question and click on the 3 dots (°°° at the top right of a folder). This will take you to the "Folder or project details" area.
2) Please now scroll down and click on the "Offline available" slider so that it is highlighted in orange.
Good to know:
- The content is only made available offline for the end device on which this function has been activated, and only for the respective project or project or project folder.

Due to the amount of data downloaded over time, it is recommended to clear the cache in the settings ("Clear cache") of the mobile app. This will make more memory available to your device again and can also help to speed up the functioning of the app. If you only want to clear the cache for a single project, select the "Clear cache" entry under its project details.
