Foreword: The ‘global search function’ is a function that is only fully available to users of the ‘Office’ package type. You can find out how to upgrade to ‘Office’ to be able to use all functions here.
You can find the ‘global search function’ in the web app by clicking on the magnifying glass symbol in the top right-hand corner.
You can search for projects, project folders, chat messages and tasks here. It doesn't matter what order the words are in and the search also finds word-in-word results. If you click on a result, you will be taken directly to the project or project folder where you will find what you were looking for.
The best matching results (top results) are displayed at the very top, as you would expect from other search engines.
The following filter options are available to you:
- Search for all (active & archived) projects
- Search for active projects
- Search for archived projects
- Search for all (active & archived) project folders
- Search for active project folders
- Search for archived project folders
- Search for text content
- Search for all (open & completed) tasks
- Search for open tasks
- Search for completed tasks
Good to know:

- Search results are only displayed for projects / project folders for which you you are registered as a project member.
- Projects & project folders that have already been deleted can be viewed in the web app in the web app via the "Deleted projects" settings area for the user with the owner role.
- The function can be used under both the web app and the mobile app. app can be used.
