1) Go to the desired project and click on the paper clip in the ‘Messages’ area at the bottom left.
2) Select the ‘PDF scanner’ entry from the menu.
3) This will activate your smartphone/tablet camera. Follow the instructions on your screen and make sure that the document is placed on a background with as much contrast as possible.
4) If the device is positioned correctly, the document will be captured automatically. For multi-page documents, you can carry out the process several times in succession. The captured scans are displayed at the bottom left.
5) Optional: By clicking on the mini view of the recorded scans, you can call them up in a large display and optionally
- straighten
- use a colour filter
- rotate the scans or
- delete scans that do not match directly
Then click on ‘Done’ at the top left.
6) Now select the ‘Save’ button at the bottom right to save the recorded scans.
7) Now click on the ‘Send button’.
8) The saved scans are uploaded to the message history of the project in PDF format.

The PDF scanner is also available in the file storage of each project. The PDF forms captured in this area are also uploaded there accordingly.
